Medical Director (Biotechnology): Leading Taiwan’s medical strategy, portfolio and launch planning, evidence generation, scientific engagement, and medical governance with an accent on oncology, patient access, clinical evidence, and regulatory compliance. Focus on shaping country-level medical priorities, strengthening external scientific partnerships, overseeing clinical-trial and safety activities, and building a high-performing Medical organization.

What you will do
- Lead Taiwan’s medical strategy and annual Medical Plan across in-line and pipeline assets.
- Provide senior scientific leadership to the Taiwan Management Team and connect country priorities with JAPAC and global strategies.
- Lead medical readiness for launches, lifecycle milestones, and priority oncology opportunities.
- Own local evidence-generation strategy across clinical studies, real-world evidence, investigator-sponsored studies, and related programs.
- Lead senior-level engagement with key opinion leaders, investigators, societies, policy stakeholders, and external experts.
- Oversee medical governance, risk management, compliance, patient safety, talent development, and organizational capability.
Requirements
- Medical degree such as MD, MBBS, or equivalent preferred; PharmD, PhD, or equivalent may be considered with substantial relevant experience.
- Typically 10+ years of Medical Affairs and/or clinical development experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology environments.
- Demonstrated country or affiliate Medical leadership, including strategy, organization design, talent development, and resource allocation.
- Established credibility with external experts, investigators, and scientific or society stakeholders in Taiwan or the region.
- Strong understanding of Taiwan’s pharmaceutical, healthcare, regulatory, reimbursement, and policy environment.
- Experience in medical governance, risk management, patient safety, compliant execution, data analytics, and digital or AI tools.
