What you will do

  • Manage credit and collection activities within New Zealand legislation and university credit management policies.
  • Prioritise and administer a high-volume customer portfolio.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, and external funders.
  • Resolve customer issues and pursue opportunities to improve credit control processes.
  • Work independently while contributing to the Accounts Receivable team and meeting performance targets.

Requirements

  • At least five years of credit control and accounts receivable experience.
  • Familiarity with relevant New Zealand legislation and statutory requirements.
  • Experience working in a large, complex organisation and managing varied customer groups under tight deadlines.
  • Strong customer relationship management, communication, problem-solving, organisational, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience using an ERP system such as PeopleSoft.
  • High standard of accuracy in written and spoken English.
