Student Worker – Data & Digital Analytics (AI)

Location: Billund, Denmark. Hybrid work with an average of 3 days per week in the office.

What you will do

• Analyze technical drawings, order data, product categorization, and supplier segmentation rules with engineering and business experts.
• Prepare, clean, structure, and label datasets for machine learning.
• Explore and evaluate computer vision, OCR, multimodal models, metadata-based classification, and rule-based approaches.
• Develop and test a proof of concept that recommends product categories and supplier segments for orders.
• Define evaluation criteria and measure accuracy, coverage, confidence, and error types.
• Validate results with engineering, procurement, and other business stakeholders, and document assumptions, limitations, performance, and recommendations.

Requirements

• Currently studying Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Familiarity with Python, data analysis, and machine learning concepts.
• Interest in computer vision, technical documentation, OCR, and multimodal AI.
• Structured and critical approach to data quality, testing, and validation.
• Curious, analytical mindset with strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluent English, written and spoken, is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with technical drawings or CAD data.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Apps or Power Automate.
• Python experience in data analysis or automation.
