Early Careers - IT QA Intern

Location: Downers Grove, Illinois, United States; hybrid schedule with a minimum of three days in the office per week

Base pay: $19.13–$34.17 per hour

What you will do

• Participate in a formal 10-week IT internship program and contribute to real-world project work.
• Own assigned project components and deliverables with guidance from a mentor and manager.
• Conduct research, analyze data, and develop recommendations for business decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional business and technical teams.
• Support initiatives that improve business outcomes and member and client experiences.
• Prepare and deliver a final internship presentation to department leadership.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree as a rising senior in information technology, information systems, cybersecurity, project management, computer science, or another relevant major.
• Expected graduation between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Available for the full 10-week program.
• Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills with the ability to learn unfamiliar concepts and prioritize multiple projects.

Nice to have

• Prior technical internship or related work experience.
• Volunteerism or leadership experience.
• Participation in IT associations, organizations, or relevant technical competitions.
• Interest in the healthcare payer industry or beginning a career in IT.
