Manager, Market Intelligence (AMERS)

Location: United States; remote-hybrid; covering the Americas, with travel up to 20% for market visits, site tours, and industry events.

Salary: $110,000–$163,000 USD base salary per year, plus potential bonus, equity, and/or commission.

What you will do

• Run weekly market monitoring and maintain a governed market intelligence database covering metros, utility territories, and individual sites.
• Deliver first-pass site screens and use GIS-based powered-land analytics to identify and rank candidate data centre sites.
• Validate power availability and interconnection feasibility with the Energy and Power team.
• Produce market profiles covering supply, absorption, inventory, pricing, commercial terms, and competitor activity across Americas markets.
• Prepare written, graphical, dashboard, and leadership materials for Development, Energy and Power, Preconstruction, Sales, and Finance.
• Build repeatable, documented intelligence routines and maintain relationships with brokers, utilities, economic development agencies, and data providers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Economics, Urban Planning, Geography/GIS, Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in data centre market intelligence, site selection, real estate research, energy or infrastructure analysis, or a comparable analytical role.
• Experience building or maintaining governed datasets with defined schemas, source discipline, provenance, and refresh cadences.
• Working knowledge of power, interconnection, and real estate fundamentals relevant to data centre siting.
• Strong analytical modelling, advanced spreadsheet, executive presentation, organizational, and communication skills.
• Must be based in the United States and willing to travel up to 20%.

Nice to have

• Hands-on GIS experience with ArcGIS or QGIS for site screening, mapping, and spatial analysis.
• Experience with Palantir Foundry or similar data and ontology platforms.
• Dashboarding or BI experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
• Familiarity with ISO/RTO interconnection queues, utility filings, rate cases, incentives, zoning, and permitting records.
• Experience using AI tooling to accelerate research, data collection, and summarization workflows.
