AI Associate (AI)

Location: Berlin, Germany; 100% on-site at the Berlin office for the full 12-month program

Salary: €65,000–€80,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Handle customer support tickets end-to-end across model behavior, API integrations, enterprise compliance, billing, and access control.
• Reproduce issues, compare model behavior, inspect logs and API responses, and distinguish model limitations from system failures.
• Explain non-determinism, context handling, latency, model selection, and other AI concepts clearly to customers.
• Take ownership of cross-team side projects such as sales calls, customer workshops, use cases, documentation, and internal automation.
• Escalate recurring friction and bugs to engineering and product with clear reproduction steps and edge-case documentation.
• Improve support workflows by building and testing internal AI tooling.

Requirements

• Availability to work full-time and 100% on-site in Berlin for 12 months.
• Existing work authorization in Germany is required.
• Strong curiosity about AI, LLM behavior, cloud software, APIs, inference, and system reliability.
• Analytical, systems-oriented thinking with a willingness to investigate root causes and take full ownership of customer issues.
• Clear and professional English communication; German is useful but not required.
• Technical or analytical grounding through Computer Science, Data Engineering, a related field, or hands-on technical projects is beneficial but not required.

• Experience building technical projects, automations, or AI-related tools.
