Senior OT Security Analyst

Location: Remote in the United Kingdom

What you will do

• Lead shift operations and guide analysts through alert triage and network telemetry analysis across customer OT environments.
• Investigate suspicious activity, misconfigurations, anomalies, and potential malicious behavior across industrial networks.
• Document and escalate findings to incident responders and threat hunters with clear, actionable analysis.
• Work with analysts, threat hunters, incident responders, platform engineers, and detection engineering to tune detections and reduce false positives.
• Prepare incident summaries and operational reports for internal stakeholders and customers.
• Support asset classification, vulnerability management, hardening recommendations, customer requests, and hirify.global Platform operations.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in network security, preferably including real-world threat investigation.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, firewalls, DNS, and packet analysis.
• Hands-on experience with IDS/IPS, SIEM platforms, or network traffic analyzers.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to explain technical findings to internal teams and customers.
• Interest in ICS/OT cybersecurity and the ability to learn complex industrial concepts.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and participate in shift-based coverage, weekend on-call work, and scheduled weekend shifts.

Nice to have

• Security Operations Center experience.
• Familiarity with Modbus, DNP3, Ethernet/IP, and ICS environments.
• Knowledge of OT adversary tactics and MITRE ATT&CK for ICS.
• Cybersecurity operations, threat hunting, digital forensics, PCAP analysis, Python, or Bash experience.
