Security Operations Analyst (Cybersecurity): Monitoring security systems, investigating alerts, and responding to threats across Megaport’s environment with an accent on SIEM operations, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, and cloud security. Focus on analyzing attack artifacts, containing incidents, refining detection rules, and improving security solutions across diverse infrastructure.

What you will do
- Administer SIEM technologies, develop threat intelligence and threat models, and implement and refine detection rules.
- Onboard data sources into the SIEM and correlate security data across diverse physical and cloud environments.
- Manage incident response and conduct end-to-end investigations, including attack artifact analysis, impact assessment, and containment planning.
- Manage vulnerability identification and remediation using disclosure monitoring, penetration test reports, and vulnerability scanning solutions.
- Operate and support EDR, ZTNA, DLP, cloud security, and other security solutions.
- Provide security expertise for solution architecture, implementation design, and ongoing environment improvements.
Requirements
- Proficient English is required for regular written and verbal communication with global teams and stakeholders.
- Expertise with SIEM solutions across physical and cloud environments.
- Current knowledge of exploits, attacker tools, techniques, procedures, and threat intelligence sources.
- Experience with cloud security tools, vulnerability scanning, cloud networks, and application environments.
- Exposure to incident response processes and tools, plus knowledge of desktop and server operating systems.
- Experience with network security, host-level security hardening, and SDLC security practices; relevant certifications are beneficial.
