Risk Product Analyst (Trading Technology)

What you will do

• Partner with portfolio managers, traders, and quantitative researchers across rates, FX, commodities, equities, and crypto asset classes.
• Diagnose and resolve issues affecting risk and valuation systems across applications, APIs, databases, messaging systems, and underlying services.
• Monitor incidents and prioritize them according to their potential impact on trading, portfolio management, and P&L.
• Escalate unresolved issues to engineering, quantitative, or infrastructure teams with clear, reproducible diagnoses.
• Work with Engineering and Product Management to identify recurring issues and drive strategic technology solutions.
• Develop Python tools and scripts to automate diagnostics, investigate issues, analyze data, and improve workflows.

Requirements

• Deep knowledge of financial products, including cash instruments, futures, swaps, and options, and of financial markets.
• Experience in trade support, trading technology, production support, or a related role in a production trading environment.
• Ability to write Python and SQL for issue investigation, diagnostic automation, data querying, and reconciliation.
• Familiarity with production diagnostic tools such as log aggregation, dashboards, monitoring, and alerting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and judgment skills when working under pressure.
• Ability to collaborate with portfolio managers, traders, quantitative researchers, engineers, and product managers.
