Medical Imaging Technologist I (PET)

Location: Remote in Costa Rica

What you will do

• Review PET images and documentation for protocol compliance and image quality.
• Identify acquisition issues, protocol deviations, and data discrepancies, and support imaging sites with resolution.
• Perform PET image quality control and document findings according to study requirements.
• Support site qualification, technical assessments, study startup, and imaging-site training.
• Track, process, archive, measure, and prepare imaging data and deliverables throughout the study lifecycle.
• Collaborate with project teams, sponsors, clinical sites, and cross-functional groups to meet study timelines and quality objectives.

Requirements

• Certification or licensure as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, PET Technologist, or equivalent imaging professional.
• Experience performing or reviewing PET imaging, preferably in oncology, clinical research, or a regulated healthcare environment.
• Understanding of PET acquisition protocols, radiotracer workflows, image quality assessment, and compliance requirements.
• Experience with imaging software, image review platforms, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to work remotely from Costa Rica.

Nice to have

• Degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology, Medical Imaging, Healthcare, Life Sciences, or a related field.
• Experience in oncology, clinical research, or a regulated healthcare environment.
