Legal Counsel LATAM (AdTech)

What you will do

• Review, draft, and negotiate commercial contracts with agencies, brands, publishers, technology vendors, data providers, and strategic partners across Latin America.
• Provide legal support for operations across 12 LATAM territories and advise sales, operations, and product teams on day-to-day legal matters.
• Support the post-acquisition integration of Adsmovil and Rocketlab through contract harmonization, policy development, and governance frameworks.
• Monitor data privacy, digital advertising, and consumer protection regulations across the region.
• Manage external counsel and contribute to scalable legal processes, templates, playbooks, and best practices.

Requirements

• Law degree and 4–7 years of experience in transactional, corporate, or technology law.
• Strong experience reviewing and negotiating complex commercial contracts.
• Advanced English, written and spoken, is required.
• Ability to work autonomously, prioritize in high-demand environments, and communicate clearly with non-legal audiences.
• Familiarity with LATAM data privacy regulations; knowledge of Colombia's Habeas Data framework is advantageous.
• Strong judgment, organization, attention to detail, emotional intelligence, and a solutions-oriented approach.

Nice to have

• Experience in AdTech, digital media, SaaS, or technology platforms.
• Experience with international clients or multinational corporate structures.
• Knowledge of IAB, GDPR, and CCPA-related digital advertising frameworks.
• Conversational Portuguese for coordination with Brazil.
