Go Trainee

Location: Georgia; candidates in Tbilisi and Batumi attend in the employer's office, while candidates from other Georgian cities can participate online.

Salary: up to 1350 GEL per month before taxes.

Andersen is an international IT outsourcing company developing digital products for fintech, banking, healthcare, logistics, e-commerce, and other industries.

What you will do

• Complete a five-month full-time Go traineeship focused on backend development.
• Build a training project that mirrors commercial product development.
• Develop high-load backend systems and learn microservice architecture.
• Practice writing unit tests and working with relational databases.
• Progress toward joining a commercial project after successful completion.

Requirements

• English at Intermediate level or higher.
• Strong theoretical knowledge of Go.
• Knowledge of fundamental data structures and object-oriented programming principles.
• Knowledge of relational databases and understanding of software testing.
• Experience writing unit tests and having educational, pet, or test projects.
• Full-time availability: five days per week, eight hours per day.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of REST API principles.
• Understanding of concurrency and multithreaded programming in Go.
• Technical background.
• German at Intermediate level or higher.
