Marketing & Communications Intern (Defense)

Location: Oshkosh, Wisconsin, United States; candidates must be willing to travel or relocate to Oshkosh, Wisconsin for Summer 2027.

Pay range: $18.00–$37.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Write, edit, and distribute press releases, blog articles, newsletters, and other internal and external communications.
• Create social media content and support digital marketing campaigns across multiple platforms.
• Coordinate trade shows, events, customer engagements, messaging, and marketing materials.
• Update website content in WordPress and maintain brand consistency across digital properties.
• Monitor media coverage, build media lists, and distribute materials to targeted outlets.
• Support branding, product launches, internal communications, project timelines, archives, and distribution lists.

Requirements

• Must be enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, Communications, or a related field throughout the internship.
• Graduation date must be December 2027 or later.
• Must be willing to travel or relocate to Oshkosh, Wisconsin for Summer 2027.
• Strong writing and editing skills with portfolio samples.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced team environment.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Nice to have

• Proficiency with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience with WordPress or other web content management systems.
• Interest in defense, manufacturing, or B2B marketing.
