Senior Credit Analyst (Fintech)

hirify.global is a fintech that helps consumers refinance expensive loans, reduce borrowing costs, and improve their repayment plans.

What you will do

• Analyze consumer-credit performance and identify opportunities to improve approvals, pricing, and portfolio outcomes.
• Design and improve underwriting criteria and automated credit-decisioning rules.
• Investigate the impact of pricing and approval changes on losses over time.
• Work with data scientists, engineers, legal specialists, and analysts to implement and evaluate decisions.
• Assess which credit assumptions can be applied when entering new markets.

Requirements

• Several years of quantitative experience in unsecured consumer credit, personal loans, credit cards, or similar products.
• Experience designing or improving underwriting criteria, ideally in automated decisioning.
• Ability to investigate data independently and understand regulatory boundaries.
• Ability to explain credit judgment clearly and demonstrate a decision changed through analysis and stakeholder alignment.
• Ability to work from Stockholm, where the role is based.

Nice to have

• Experience in a fintech, challenger bank, or specialist consumer lender.
• German or Finnish market knowledge.
• Experience in loss prevention.
• Curiosity about AI-enabled tools for credit analysis.
