Cybersecurity Analyst (GRC) - Remote

Location: 100% remote; US-oriented W2 contract role

Salary: $62 per hour (W2, no PTO)

What you will do

• Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments and recommend remediation strategies.
• Develop and improve organization-wide security policies, standards, and best practices.
• Research emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends and provide recommendations to leadership.
• Plan, implement, and support layered security controls for organizational assets.
• Collaborate with IT, audit, and business teams on security and regulatory compliance.
• Use ServiceNow and related tools to support governance, compliance, operations, documentation, and reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of cybersecurity experience.
• Experience with cybersecurity risk assessments, GRC, ServiceNow, databases, Microsoft Office, and IT audit processes.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, risk management practices, and industry regulations.
• Excellent communication skills for explaining technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Cybersecurity certification required; eligibility to support organizations subject to healthcare compliance requirements is required.

Nice to have

• CISSP, CEH, CTIA, CAP, or EnCase Certified Examiner certification.
