Salary: NZ$56,400–NZ$67,000 per year, depending on skills and experience.

What you will do
- Provide teaching, course, programme, and postgraduate administration support to academic and professional staff.
- Coordinate curriculum information, course outlines, timetabling requirements, and programme implementation.
- Support learning management system setup, content management, and grade submission processes.
- Assist with assessments and examinations, including tests, aegrotat applications, and examiner nominations.
- Facilitate Staff-Student Consultative Committees and support engagement with academic staff, professional staff, and students.
- Contribute to continuous improvement while delivering responsive customer service.
Requirements
- NCEA Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience.
- At least 3–4 years of administrative experience in a large and complex organisation.
- Experience in fast-paced administration or programme coordination; tertiary education or complex public-sector experience is preferred.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills and strong technological literacy.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, planning, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, support multiple stakeholders, work independently and collaboratively, and adapt to organisational change.
Nice to have
- Tertiary qualification.
- At least two years of experience in an educational institution.
- Experience with learning management systems, student management systems, or database-driven software.
- Experience supporting teaching and course administration processes.
