Malay Linguistic Evaluator & Functional Tester

What you will do

• Evaluate pre-release AI model responses in Malay for accuracy, naturalness, appropriateness, and overall quality.
• Fact-check model responses against source material and compare the Malay experience with the English version.
• Test complete user journeys on client-supplied smartphones and next-generation smart glasses across iOS and Android.
• Identify feature-parity issues, localization errors, display defects, and incorrect dates, numbers, currencies, units, or untranslated strings.
• Document issues with reproduction steps, device and operating system details, locale, build ID, and supporting evidence.
• Re-test fixes and support additional linguistic projects as needed.

Requirements

• Native-level or fully bilingual Malay, written and spoken, is required.
• Ability to explain issues clearly in English; English proficiency is required.
• Confidence using smartphones and laptops, including both iOS and Android.
• Strong attention to detail, objective judgement, and ability to follow detailed test scripts and guidelines.
• On-site work in a private, secure office area is required; remote or work-from-home work is not available.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in software or app testing, localization QA, or linguistic evaluation.
