Scale Solution Engineer (Japanese-speaking; English required)

What you will do

• Advise customers during onboarding and provide technical assistance early in their Databricks journey.
• Help customers deploy Databricks in production environments.
• Build expertise in the Databricks Platform and guide customers toward effective technical decisions.
• Provide technical solutions and support to multiple customers concurrently.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or relevant equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in a technical role, preferably in data or cloud.
• Knowledge of at least one public cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of Python, Scala, or SQL and end-to-end data analytics workflows.
• Hands-on experience with data engineering or data warehousing technologies, such as ETL, DBT, Spark, Airflow, SQL, stored procedures, Redshift, or Snowflake.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in Japanese and English is required. Strong time management and prioritization skills are also required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of data science and machine learning, including building and deploying ML models.
• Databricks Certification.
