Principal Resident Consultant, Professional Services (Application Security)

What you will do

• Embed within customer technical teams and follow their tools, processes, and change-management frameworks.
• Design, configure, optimize, and troubleshoot hirify.global security and networking solutions in customer environments.
• Build prototypes, automation scripts, implementation plans, architecture designs, and operational documentation.
• Provide architectural guidance and roadmap recommendations for complex enterprise engagements.
• Lead technical workshops, knowledge-transfer sessions, security drills, product-launch preparation, and executive reviews.
• Represent customer needs to hirify.global Engineering, Support, Product, and account stakeholders.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in customer-facing technical roles.
• Recognized expertise in application security, networking, or enterprise technical leadership.
• Advanced experience with WAF, Bot Management, API Gateway, DDoS protection, rate limiting, or large-scale security architectures.
• Expert understanding of OSI, TCP/IP, TLS, DNS, and HTTP, with hands-on configuration and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience leading complex enterprise engagements, managing competing priorities, and communicating with technical and executive audiences.
• Experience working with enterprise customers in APJC and understanding regional compliance, business culture, and technical ecosystems.

Nice to have

• Infrastructure-as-code and scripting experience with Terraform, Python, JavaScript, or Bash.
• Experience in public sector, financial services, healthcare, or complex legacy migrations.
• CISSP, CCIE, AWS, GCP, Azure, or equivalent certifications.
• Experience with Agile, enterprise change management, Zero Trust, SASE, or hirify.global products.
