Innovative Medicine Sr. Medical Science Liaison (Oncology)

Location: Seoul, South Korea; domestic and international travel required

What you will do

• Build and maintain scientific relationships with medical key individuals and healthcare professionals in oncology.
• Provide accurate clinical and scientific information on established and pipeline products while following regulatory, ethical, and healthcare compliance requirements.
• Develop medical engagement plans, identify educational needs, support congresses and advisory boards, and capture actionable medical insights.
• Manage investigator-initiated study inquiries and liaise with clinical research teams.
• Support clinical trial site identification, site initiation visits, investigator meetings, and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Commercial, GCO, PADU, and other internal stakeholders on medical strategy, training, and scientific updates.

Requirements

• Relevant background in medicine, pharmacy, life sciences, or a related scientific discipline.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical or related industry.
• Experience in oncology, particularly lung cancer, is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of scientific and therapeutic principles, research methodologies, clinical trial design, and scientific publication interpretation.
• Excellent spoken and written English is required.
• Understanding of local regulatory policy, pharmaceutical promotion, clinical studies, and applicable industry codes of practice; proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Nice to have

• Master of Science, PhD, MD, PharmD, or another advanced degree.
• Experience with competitive landscape analysis, data gathering, analytical reasoning, stakeholder engagement, and medical communications.
• Strong strategic thinking, interpersonal influence, coaching, problem-solving, and digital literacy skills.
