Senior Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer (Azure): Building and maintaining scalable, secure hybrid infrastructure across Microsoft Azure, on-premise environments, and VMware platforms with an accent on cloud architecture, enterprise infrastructure, and data platform support. Focus on leading infrastructure projects, solving complex incidents, making architectural decisions, and enabling reliable Azure data engineering services.
Location: Manila, Philippines; hybrid work with 2 days per week in the office; working hours from 5:00am to 2:00pm

What you will do
- Lead infrastructure and cloud projects from planning through implementation.
- Make architectural decisions and design scalable, secure infrastructure solutions.
- Build, configure, and maintain Microsoft Azure and on-premise infrastructure.
- Support and optimize VMware compute, storage, and related enterprise services.
- Lead complex incident response, escalation management, and root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with development and data teams to deliver reliable, high-performing platform services and track work in Jira and Tempo.
Requirements
- Strong experience supporting hybrid cloud and on-premise infrastructure environments.
- Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure, Azure data services, and Azure-native data platforms.
- In-depth experience with VMware virtualization, enterprise infrastructure platforms, Windows Server, and core services.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, SQL environments, and data platform infrastructure.
- Proven ability to lead technical projects and architectural decisions.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted operations tooling, including AIOps platforms, Copilot, or AI-driven monitoring and alerting.
Nice to have
- Experience with Terraform or Ansible.
- Exposure to AWS and Databricks.
- Azure, VMware, or networking certifications.
