Senior Mobile Engineer - Platform (React Native)

Location: Bulgaria; hybrid work with three days per week in the office

Voy is a fast-growing healthtech scale-up building an all-in-one healthcare platform for diagnosis, treatment, and long-term health support.

What you will do

• Identify mobile platform bottlenecks and deliver high-impact solutions for product engineering squads.
• Define React Native engineering standards covering TypeScript, component architecture, code quality, and testing.
• Build and maintain reusable navigation, state management, networking, UI, error-handling, and other shared modules.
• Improve mobile CI/CD pipelines, release workflows, build tooling, and migration paths.
• Support observability through event schemas, analytics instrumentation, crash alerting, and production dashboards.
• Shape API contracts, backend integration patterns, roadmap planning, and long-term platform maintainability.

Requirements

• Senior-level engineering experience with strong TypeScript and React foundations.
• React Native or frontend background and interest in going deeper into mobile platform engineering.
• Experience identifying root causes across codebases and building pragmatic, reusable abstractions.
• Experience with performance profiling, testing across unit, integration, and end-to-end layers, and production metrics.
• Ability to collaborate with product, design, backend, and platform teams and communicate technical complexity clearly.
• Availability to work from the Bulgaria office three days per week is required.
