Solutions Engineer (AppSec)

What you will do

• Partner with Account Executives to support strategic sales opportunities.
• Deliver compelling technical narratives for application security solutions.
• Run tailored product demonstrations and proof-of-value engagements.
• Help technical and executive audiences understand application and software supply chain risks.
• Explain security challenges related to AI-assisted coding and AI-generated code.

Requirements

• Understanding of core AppSec domains, including SAST, SCA, DAST, secrets detection, API security, and AI/LLM code risk.
• 1–2+ years of experience in technical presales or solution engineering for SaaS security or developer tools.
• Fluent English and Spanish required.
• Ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-security audiences.
• Ability to run demonstrations and proof-of-value engagements for technical and executive stakeholders.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-growth sales environment.

Nice to have

• Portuguese fluency.
• Working knowledge of the SDLC and DevSecOps or shift-left practices.
• Familiarity with AI coding tools such as Claude, Gemini, Copilot, and Cursor.
• Hands-on scripting or programming experience across multiple languages.
