What you will do

• Design challenging, realistic electrical and electronics engineering problems based on professional experience.
• Run engineering problems through frontier AI models and evaluate the outputs against professional standards.
• Compare model versions using identical prompts and determine which performs better.
• Critique model-generated derivations, schematics, component selections, and calculations.
• Identify incorrect assumptions, unit and sign errors, unphysical results, invalid topologies, fabricated datasheet values, and off-brief interpretations.
• Write clear technical reasoning explaining why an answer is correct or incorrect.

Requirements

• Location: applicants must be based in Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, or the United States.
• Native- or bilingual-level English fluency required.
• At least 2 years of industry experience in circuit or electronics engineering.
• Background in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Strong command of circuit analysis, design trade-offs, and component-level and system-level decisions.
• Ability to explain why an answer is wrong and comfort using or learning AI tools.

Nice to have

• A current, in-progress, or completed Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience in analog, RF, mixed-signal, control and systems, electromagnetics, antennas, devices and materials, signal processing, photonics, power, or energy systems.
