Senior Software Engineer (WebAssembly)

Location: Bellevue, WA, USA

Base salary: $115,400–$173,000 USD in Zone A, $130,400–$195,600 USD in Zone B, or $146,500–$219,700 USD in Zone C, depending on the primary work location.

What you will do

• Design and develop hirify.global Editor features and workflows for TV and mobile platform configurations.
• Profile and optimize WebGPU and WebAssembly performance, including load times, memory management, and browser-hosted runtime constraints.
• Investigate and resolve platform bug reports to maintain stable platform support.
• Develop scalable features in a large multithreaded C++ codebase.
• Improve quality and delivery through automated testing and thoughtful code reviews.
• Collaborate with hirify.global R&D teams worldwide on platform support and optimization initiatives.

Requirements

• Strong modern C++ experience in a large production codebase and performance-critical systems.
• Meaningful WebAssembly experience, such as Emscripten, Rust compiled to Wasm, server-side Wasm, or runtime and toolchain development.
• Understanding of calls, memory ownership, and data marshalling across languages and runtimes.
• Proficiency with CPU, GPU, I/O, and memory profiling tools.
• Experience designing scalable features in large multithreaded systems.
• Working proficiency in C# and sufficient English for frequent professional communication with colleagues and partners worldwide.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with real-time 3D rendering and graphics APIs such as WebGPU or Vulkan.
• Experience researching and developing optimization solutions.
• Interest in computer games and real-time 3D experiences.
• Experience using AI in the software development process.
