Senior Data Scientist (AI)

What you will do

• Research, train, and deploy state-of-the-art recommender systems using deep learning and GenAI.
• Own ML projects end to end, from business problem definition and modeling through experimentation and production deployment.
• Build scalable online models and serving solutions using massive datasets for hundreds of millions of users.
• Apply multimodal and sequence-modeling techniques to text, video, and behavioral data.
• Lead cross-team initiatives, improve ML tooling, and mentor less experienced colleagues.
• Collaborate with ML experts, big data engineers, product managers, and developers on complex product problems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a data scientist or applied ML researcher or engineer.
• Experience taking machine learning projects from concept to production.
• Strong Python and PyTorch skills with a solid foundation in deep learning theory.
• Strong analytical skills and product sense, including the ability to frame business problems and select appropriate ML solutions.
• Experience guiding less experienced teammates and driving cross-person projects.
• Professional English proficiency for frequent communication with colleagues and partners worldwide.

Nice to have

• Experience with recommender systems, ranking, or ads and marketplace ML.
• Experience with distributed training and low-latency inference.
• Experience with GenAI or LLM applications, embeddings, or multimodal models.
• Familiarity with JAX or ML frameworks beyond PyTorch.
