Senior Data Scientist (AI Security)

Location: Tel Aviv, Israel; onsite at the office

hirify.global is building an AI Security and Governance Platform that provides visibility and protection across the AI and LLM lifecycle.

What you will do

• Own the full model lifecycle from problem definition, research, prototyping, and training through evaluation, deployment, and optimization.
• Design and build scalable ML and AI solutions for detecting, analyzing, and mitigating AI-related security risks.
• Develop capabilities for AI behavior analysis, anomaly detection, model governance, data risk detection, and usage observability.
• Work with structured and unstructured data, including logs, prompts, model outputs, and metadata.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Security teams to translate customer needs into modeling objectives and production features.
• Lead research proofs of concept and bring advances in LLMs, applied ML, and AI security into the product.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Data Science or Applied ML roles.
• 3+ years of backend development experience with production systems.
• Strong hands-on experience with language models, LLMs, and modern ML techniques.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience owning research proofs of concept from ideation through real-world impact.
• Strong understanding of product and business value, with a pragmatic approach to building effective solutions.

Nice to have

• Experience in AI security, application security, or threat detection.
• Experience with LLM workflows, RAG pipelines, prompt analysis, or multi-model systems.
• Experience building internal platforms or developer-facing ML tooling.
• Previous Tech Lead or Team Lead experience.
• Startup experience, especially in early-stage or growth-stage companies.
