Software Engineer (MedTech)

Location: Helsinki, Finland; primarily office-based with an expectation of working from the Helsinki office at least four days per week

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications across the full software development lifecycle.
• Build integrations and APIs connecting clinical and healthcare software systems for oncology workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and engineering teams to deliver scalable products, services, and solutions.
• Contribute to technical design and architecture discussions.
• Develop automated unit, integration, end-to-end, and performance tests.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and support continuous improvement and engineering best practices.

Requirements

• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, event-driven systems, and microservice-based applications using Python or C#/.NET Core.
• Good understanding of SQL databases, test automation, and software quality practices.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and continuous learning skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with TypeScript, Angular, and modern web applications or Single Page Applications.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, cloud-native technologies, and Kubernetes.
