Cloud Quality Engineer – Internship

Location: Galway, Ireland; hybrid, with an average of two days per week in an HPE office. Start date: 11 January 2026 for approximately eight months. Applicants must be enrolled at an Irish university during the internship.

What you will do

• Work in an Agile automation team focused on cloud testing.
• Write and maintain automated test scripts using Python, Playwright, Java, and other technologies.
• Test new features and enhance test frameworks and quality processes.
• Participate in peer code reviews and contribute to the team knowledge base.
• Collaborate with software engineers while learning cloud platforms and software development practices.
• Receive guidance and mentorship from senior engineers.

Requirements

• Enrollment at an Irish university throughout the internship is mandatory.
• Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Exposure to software engineering methodologies and practices.
• Exposure to Linux and programming languages such as Python, Playwright, or Java.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and willingness to learn.
• Availability to work in the Galway office as part of the hybrid arrangement.
