BCG Vantage Global Senior Director – AI Cost Advantage

Location: Chicago, Boston, or Washington, United States, or London, United Kingdom

Base salary for US locations: $185,000–$216,000 per year, plus discretionary bonus and retirement contribution.

What you will do

• Lead the global BCG Vantage Cost topic strategy, portfolio, services, knowledge assets, and professionals.
• Own topic performance, including case billability, P&L, customer satisfaction, and team satisfaction KPIs.
• Coordinate Cost expertise across functional practices and industry domains to ensure consistent delivery quality.
• Integrate AI into offers and coordinate the development and deployment of AI tools, agents, and workflows.
• Support client cases directly in a billable capacity and work with senior stakeholders across the firm.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a global team within a complex matrixed organization.

Requirements

• 15+ years of industry experience preferred, or at least 8 years of consulting experience in a relevant sector or topic.
• Bachelor’s degree with demonstrated academic achievement required; an advanced degree is preferred.
• Experience leading end-to-end cost transformation across multiple cost levers, with deeper expertise in at least one functional area.
• Business, line, and project management experience, including accountability for professional-services business metrics and P&L preferred.
• Foundational AI knowledge for designing and deploying agents, skills, and workflows.
• International experience, change management expertise, and a record of implementation success are preferred.

• Deep expertise in People and Organization, Operations, IT, or Technology.
• Experience in relevant industry domains such as Consumer or Healthcare.
