AI Tech Architect (AI)

Location: Oslo, Norway; work is performed on site for the Oslo office

What you will do

• Analyze existing technology landscapes and design scalable application, data, cloud, integration, and AI architectures.
• Design generative AI and agent-based solutions, including retrieval and knowledge architectures, model and tool integration, and supporting data platforms.
• Translate business and functional requirements into technical designs and evaluate trade-offs involving performance, scalability, resilience, security, maintainability, cost, and vendors.
• Develop prototypes and proofs of concept to evaluate technologies and demonstrate solutions for client challenges.
• Help move AI solutions from experimentation to production through APIs, CI/CD, DevOps, MLOps/LLMOps, observability, testing, and lifecycle management.
• Design secure and responsible solutions that address data protection, access control, AI governance, model risk, and cyber resilience.

Requirements

• Degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, informatics, engineering, or another technology-intensive field, or relevant industry experience.
• Approximately two years of relevant experience in software development, data or AI engineering, cloud or platform engineering, solution architecture, or IT consulting.
• Hands-on software development or engineering experience with code, APIs, data, and modern development environments.
• Knowledge of APIs, microservices, containerization, cloud-native development, data architectures, CI/CD, and DevOps.
• Hands-on experience with AI, machine learning, or GenAI solutions and understanding of LLM-based applications.
• Excellent English communication skills; willingness to work on site in Oslo and travel as needed.

Nice to have

• Experience with retrieval-augmented generation, AI agents, model integration, MLOps/LLMOps, or AI evaluation.
• Broad technical expertise and interest in emerging AI, cloud, data, software, and digital platform technologies.
