Senior Software Engineer I, Security Infrastructure

Location: New York, NY or Sunnyvale, CA, United States. The position requires access to export-controlled information and eligibility under U.S. export regulations.

Salary: $153,000–$204,000 base salary per year, plus discretionary bonus, equity awards, and benefits.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and operate SIEM infrastructure.
• Build data pipelines that acquire large volumes of data across infrastructure surfaces.
• Develop security observability and detection capabilities by integrating infrastructure sources, logs, and data.
• Work with security, data platform, and infrastructure teams to build scalable solutions.
• Develop data processing and data lake solutions using Elasticsearch and related technologies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in security engineering or infrastructure engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong understanding of large-scale data processing and data pipelines.
• Proficiency in Go, Python, or similar programming languages, with experience building production tooling and automation.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Eligibility to access U.S. export-controlled information under applicable U.S. regulations.

Nice to have

• Experience building SIEM, data, or observability platforms.
• Experience designing reliable and scalable systems for processing very large, heterogeneous datasets.
