Associate Operations Specialist (Energy Efficiency)

Location: Remote office associated with Columbia, South Carolina, United States; candidates based in or near Columbia are highly preferred.

Salary: $60,000–$67,000 anticipated base salary; published full-time pay range: $55,400–$94,180.

What you will do

• Support the evaluation, implementation, and verification of utility-sponsored energy efficiency projects.
• Process incoming project applications and review forms and submittals for compliance with program policies and procedures.
• Assign applications for further processing and review according to established procedures.
• Analyze program operations to identify trends, issues, and improvement opportunities.
• Develop and share best practices across the team and organization.
• Collaborate with IT, Reporting, Marketing, and Customer Care teams; support customer and contractor inquiries and quality-control follow-up.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least 1 year of work experience, or an associate degree with 3 or more years of work experience.
• Interest in utility energy efficiency programs.
• Knowledge of energy-efficient technologies associated with commercial building systems.
• Successful completion of a background check.
• Preference is given to candidates based in or near Columbia, South Carolina.
