AI Developer / AI Engineer (Python)

Location: Ghent, Belgium; hybrid remote work with flexible working hours

What you will do

• Turn product requirements and UI designs into high-quality application features.
• Build and maintain AI- and LLM-powered functionality.
• Integrate AI capabilities into existing Python and Django applications.
• Develop, test, debug, and maintain the codebase.
• Deploy and maintain production environments with the product and engineering team.

Requirements

• Experience building and maintaining AI- or LLM-powered features.
• Knowledge of AI frameworks such as LangChain, prompt design, and RAG systems.
• Understanding of fine-tuning and evaluating language models.
• Solid Python and Django knowledge, with a thorough understanding of REST principles and third-party API integration.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Ingress, PostgreSQL or comparable relational databases, and Linux production environments.
• Understanding of DevOps principles, production deployment, and continuous integration and delivery.

Nice to have

• Experience with Google Cloud.
• Experience scaling Python infrastructure.
• Experience working in a SaaS environment.
