Senior Cost Manager (Data Centres)

What you will do

• Lead cost management across a European lease portfolio, including budget control, forecasting, cost optimisation, and portfolio-level reporting.
• Manage OPEX and CAPEX across leased environments and align spending with client financial objectives.
• Support tenders and bids through commercial evaluation, benchmarking, supplier analysis, and value-for-money assessments.
• Manage change processes and assess cost impacts across lease agreements and associated works.
• Prepare and agree final accounts, lease exit costs, dilapidations, claims, and loss-and-expense assessments.
• Collaborate with regional stakeholders, support commercial negotiations, and mentor junior team members.

Requirements

• 7–8+ years of experience in cost management or quantity surveying, ideally in consultancy.
• Experience managing costs across multiple projects or portfolios, preferably in lease or real estate environments.
• Strong commercial management, cost planning, financial control, change management, cost reporting, and financial analysis skills.
• Degree or equivalent experience in quantity surveying, commercial management, or a construction-related discipline.
• Chartered status and exposure to data centre, mission-critical, or large-scale infrastructure projects are preferred.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment from Copenhagen and coordinate with stakeholders across multiple regions.
