Vice President, Global Procurement and Subcontracts

Location: Reston, Virginia, United States; hybrid schedule at hirify.global's headquarters

Salary: $211,388–$359,360 per year

What you will do

• Define and execute global procurement and subcontracting strategy aligned with growth, margin, and client commitments.
• Lead purchasing, strategic sourcing, category management, subcontract formation and administration, and procurement operations.
• Establish supplier segmentation, performance governance, risk frameworks, approval gates, policies, and standard terms.
• Direct source-to-pay automation, procurement analytics, spend visibility, and broader procurement transformation initiatives.
• Ensure prime contract requirements, regulatory flow-downs, audit controls, and purchasing system requirements are met.
• Build the global organization through talent strategy, leadership development, succession planning, performance standards, and reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, supply chain, procurement, or a related field.
• 15+ years of progressive procurement, subcontracting, and leadership experience.
• 5+ years at senior or executive level leading large, geographically dispersed teams through subordinate leaders.
• Experience across direct and indirect procurement, subcontracts, strategic sourcing, supplier negotiation, and enterprise-scale transformation.
• Experience with federal procurement requirements, approved purchasing systems, Contractor Purchasing System Reviews, audit readiness, and compliance controls.
• Strong financial acumen and ability to influence and align executive stakeholders in complex, matrixed environments.

Nice to have

• Master's degree, MBA, or related advanced degree.
• CPSM, CIPS, CPM, or equivalent professional certification.
• Experience with Deltek Costpoint ERP, Zycus, source-to-pay technology, or digital procurement transformation.
• Experience in professional services or government contracting, including international procurement operations and global supplier relationships.
