What you will do

• Translate user stories and business requirements into Mendix applications, including domain models, workflows, user interfaces, and security roles.
• Design integrations with internal and external systems using APIs, database connectors, SAML, and OIDC.
• Develop reusable modules, widgets, and components and contribute to a shared Mendix component library.
• Apply secure-by-design principles, role-based access control, data protection, and WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility requirements.
• Write unit and automated tests, participate in code reviews, and monitor quality and technical debt.
• Support deployment, release management, third-level production maintenance, technical documentation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of IT development experience, including at least 3 years of hands-on Mendix development.
• Mendix Advanced Developer certification or higher.
• Experience delivering at least two Mendix applications to production, including enterprise-system integrations.
• Practical experience with Mendix 10 or later and on-premises or private-cloud deployments.
• Working knowledge of Java and JavaScript for custom actions, widgets, and Mendix extensions.
• English at C1 level required. Experience with Scrum or another agile framework and strong knowledge of security, testing, integration, and maintainability principles.

Nice to have

• Mendix Expert certification.
• Experience with EU institutions or public administration.
• Experience with Mendix AI capabilities, including GenAI connectors or Maia.
• Knowledge of French.
