UX Designer (Retail)

What you will do

• Lead UX discovery, design sprints, sketching, wireframing, and service and customer mapping.
• Partner with Product Managers to define customer problems and build testable experience-improvement hypotheses.
• Collaborate with UI designers, researchers, engineers, UX writers, service designers, data analysts, and business stakeholders.
• Design web and mobile shopping experiences for millions of consumers in Europe.
• Own end-to-end product design in a fast-paced, iterative, startup-style environment.
• Build shared vision through storytelling, presentations, interpersonal skills, and analytical thinking.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of professional UX design experience.
• At least 2 recent years leading mass-market consumer web or mobile products in the UK retail sector.
• Experience with design research, journey mapping, wireframing, prototyping, and user testing.
• Ability to use quantitative and qualitative insights to inform decisions.
• Strong English written and verbal communication skills required.
