2D Moho Animator - Human Buddy

Location: Remote from any location; regular working-hours overlap with the South America-based team is required.

hirify.global produces Human Buddy, an animated medicine show about the human body, medicine, and health through comedy, storytelling, and animation.

What you will do

• Animate Human Buddy episodes in Moho from approved scripts and storyboards.
• Animate characters, props, backgrounds, transitions, motion graphics, and other visual elements.
• Create and use character rigs while maintaining clear timing, acting, posing, and visual storytelling.
• Match the established Human Buddy visual style and maintain consistency across episodes.
• Collaborate with the Creative Director and other animators, incorporate feedback, and deliver organised scenes on schedule.
• Identify production problems early and improve animation efficiency without compromising final quality.

Requirements

• Professional experience as a 2D animator.
• Strong Moho experience and the ability to work independently in the software.
• Hands-on experience with character rigging in Moho.
• Strong understanding of 2D animation principles, including timing, spacing, posing, and character acting.
• Experience working from scripts and storyboards within an established visual style.
• Organisation, deadline management, collaboration, and the ability to act on feedback in a fast-moving production environment.

Nice to have

• Strong motion graphics skills.
• Experience creating animation for YouTube or other digital-first content.
• Experience with comedy, educational, or explainer animation.
• Experience working with a distributed animation team.
• Familiarity with Human Buddy, SolarBalls, MrSpherical, or hirify.global.
