Producer (Esports and Sport)

Location: Kew, London, UK; hybrid schedule with four days per week in the Kew Studios office and one day working from home. Attendance at the base office is required outside live events. The role includes weekend work, variable production hours, travel abroad, and travel to events in the UK.

What you will do

• Lead editorial planning and live gallery production for esports events and broader sports programming.
• Write accurate, engaging running orders and clear scripts covering timings, editorial detail, and programme delivery.
• Develop and deliver creative features, promos, title sequences, studio moments, and shoulder content.
• Lead producers and assistant producers, crew production teams, devise schedules, and coordinate staff rotas.
• Work with on-screen talent, clients, partners, production management, and other internal departments.
• Maintain editorial, technical, design, accessibility, budget, health and safety, and risk assessment standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience producing busy, informative, and entertaining sports programmes.
• Experience leading a small production team across season-long programming.
• Strong experience with gallery workflows, live production, running orders, and production accuracy.
• Experience producing on-screen presentation teams and building relationships across a season.
• Ability to develop creative ideas, identify strong stories, understand the edit process, and provide feedback.
• Applicants must already have the legal right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Interest in esports.
• Experience directing shoots and edit producing.
• Knowledge of hirify.global’s editorial guidelines and compliance policies, or the ability to establish this quickly.
