TL;DR
Senior Machine Learning Engineer (AI) (AWS/Spark/Kubernetes): Building automated pipelines and scalable infrastructure for training, evaluating, deploying, and monitoring deep learning, LLM, and Agentic AI models in healthcare with an accent on data privacy, compliance, and model lifecycle engineering. Focus on designing cloud and on-premises training and inference systems, preventing model degradation, and integrating maintainable CI/CD-driven software with GDPR and HIPAA requirements.
Location: Hybrid in Dublin, Ireland. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Ireland without employment visa sponsorship.

What you will do
- Translate healthcare and business requirements into technical requirements with domain experts, data scientists, and stakeholders.
- Build automated pipelines for data processing and the training, evaluation, and deployment of deep learning, LLM, and Agentic AI models.
- Design scalable cloud and on-premises infrastructure for model training and inference.
- Implement monitoring and proactive countermeasures for model degradation.
- Apply data privacy and healthcare compliance requirements, including GDPR and HIPAA, throughout model development and deployment.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or PhD in computer science, mathematics, or a related field, or a bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of experience.
- Experience supporting the full AI/ML model lifecycle, including data ingestion, training, evaluation, and deployment.
- Familiarity with a cloud provider, preferably AWS.
- Proficiency with large-scale data processing technologies such as Hadoop and Spark.
- Hands-on experience with scalable deployment using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Ability to write maintainable, reusable code with Git, unit and integration testing, and CI/CD practices.
Nice to have
- Strong understanding of machine learning methods.
- Experience integrating LLMs and Agentic AI into real-world software solutions, including via MCP.
- Experience working in interdisciplinary environments.
