In-Line Inspector I (Medical Devices)

Location: Chattanooga, Tennessee, United States; onsite manufacturing role

What you will do

• Inspect products against specifications using designated measuring equipment.
• Read and complete product drawings, work procedures, process logs, and other production documentation.
• Work with engineering to create work instructions, test methods, and visual standards.
• Follow GMP requirements, including line clearance, work instructions, and documentation controls.
• Train technicians and operators on inspection methods and required documentation.
• Communicate issues to engineering and support continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 0–1+ years of experience in mechanical or related machine operation, preferably in the medical device industry.
• Hands-on approach, mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and good written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of good manufacturing practices and the ability to work independently while managing multiple process responsibilities.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and provide proof of unaided or corrected 20/20 vision.
