Senior Software Engineer - Service Reliability (C++)

Location: Prague, Czech Republic; hybrid work with three days in the office and two remote days per week

Salary: Kč1,200,000–Kč1,600,000 per year

What you will do

• Improve and optimize performance and memory bottlenecks in the core trading platform.
• Maintain legacy systems while engineering high-impact platform improvements.
• Build and integrate tools for telemetry, logging, and real-time monitoring.
• Apply systems-level design patterns with other engineers.
• Refactor code and improve algorithms across the platform.

Requirements

• Substantial professional experience with C++17 or later.
• Experience with data-oriented design and real-time software development.
• Systems-level Linux expertise, including lock-free and wait-free design patterns.
• Experience debugging GDB coredumps and understanding multithreading and memory ordering.
• Experience using AI-assisted coding tools such as Claude Code.

Nice to have

• Basic Python experience.
• Knowledge of financial markets, FIX exchange protocols, or low-latency networking.
• Experience with Valgrind, gprof, perf, or similar performance analysis tools.
