Business Central Functional Lead (Microsoft Dynamics 365)

Location: Malta; relocation assistance to Malta is available.

Salary: €55,000–€65,000 per annum.

A Big Four professional services firm expanding its Digital Consulting team and Business Central consulting practice in Malta.

What you will do

• Lead Business Central programmes from discovery workshops through design, configuration, testing, training, cutover, and post-launch support.
• Deliver projects across Finance, Sales, Procurement, Inventory, and HR.
• Translate business requirements into practical solutions for senior client stakeholders.
• Manage functional delivery, scope, risks, dependencies, budgets, timelines, and client expectations.
• Lead workshops, present solutions, contribute to proposals, estimates, demonstrations, and client discussions.
• Mentor functional consultants and help develop the Business Central consulting capability.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience with Dynamics NAV or Business Central.
• Experience leading ERP implementations or substantial functional workstreams.
• Strong hands-on Business Central knowledge and understanding of the full implementation lifecycle.
• Experience managing delivery priorities, budgets, timelines, and client expectations.
• Ability to lead workshops, present solutions, and coach consultants.
• Excellent written and spoken English required.

Nice to have

• Experience in professional services, consultancy, or a Microsoft Partner.
• Microsoft certification.
• Spanish, German, or Italian language skills.
