TL;DR
DevOps Engineer - CloudOps & FinOps (AWS/Azure): Operating, optimizing, and governing cloud environments while enabling secure, reliable, and cost-efficient digital products with an accent on FinOps, cloud governance, automation, and observability. Focus on managing multi-cloud infrastructure, building Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD solutions, and solving operational, security, and cloud-efficiency challenges.
Location: Kosice, Slovakia; full-time, onsite role
Salary: €2,748–€3,300 gross per month

What you will do
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure and shared services across AWS and Azure.
- Drive cloud cost visibility, governance, and optimization using FinOps practices.
- Monitor cloud usage, performance, reliability, and security.
- Develop and maintain automation, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD solutions.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and collaborate with engineering, security, and business teams to improve cloud efficiency.
Requirements
- Experience operating AWS and/or Azure cloud environments.
- Knowledge of CloudOps, FinOps, cloud governance, and security best practices.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Bicep.
- Experience with CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins.
- Experience with cloud monitoring, observability, and incident management.
- Relevant degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, plus Agile experience and strong communication skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with cloud cost management and FinOps tools or multi-account AWS and multi-subscription Azure environments.
- Familiarity with cloud security and governance platforms.
- Experience with Power BI, Docker, Kubernetes, or API platforms such as Apigee, AWS API Gateway, or Azure API Management.
- AWS certification.
