TL;DR

Frontend Developer (JavaScript): Building and expanding the Inside Business Portal for corporate banking clients across 40 countries with an accent on reusable frontend components, testing, and application resilience. Focus on developing secure and maintainable interfaces, improving monitoring and quality gates, and implementing CI/CD with Azure Pipelines.

Location: Bucharest, Romania, with a flexible home-and-office work setup

What you will do

Develop and expand frontend applications for the Inside Business Portal used by corporate banking clients.
Build clean, maintainable, and reusable code with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Test and debug frontend components, including unit and functional tests.
Collaborate with developers to define technical requirements and project timelines.
Participate in code reviews, Scrum ceremonies, and an agile delivery process.
Work with Azure Pipelines for CI/CD and contribute to application security, monitoring, alerting, and quality improvements.

Requirements

4+ years of professional frontend development experience and the ability to deliver features independently.
Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Experience with unit testing tools such as Mocha, Karma, Chai, or Sinon.
Experience with at least one modern JavaScript framework, such as React, Angular, Vue, or Svelte.
Experience with frontend build tools such as Webpack or Rollup.
Advanced English and the ability to collaborate across teams.

Nice to have

Experience with TypeScript.
Familiarity with Web Components, Custom Elements, and Shadow DOM.
Experience with Playwright, Cucumber.js, accessibility, or Azure DevOps.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in an IT-related field.
