Branch Supervisor (E-commerce Logistics)

Location: Polokwane, Limpopo, South Africa; onsite branch operations

What you will do

• Oversee inbound receiving, scanning, verification, consolidation, staging, binning, and stock-integrity processes.
• Manage outbound dispatch, including route-based stock booking, vehicle loading, parcel scanning, and dispatch readiness.
• Supervise drivers and assistants, coordinate staffing and deployment, and monitor delivery performance and reporting.
• Resolve delivery queries, coordinate parcel changes and returns, and escalate operational blockers and damaged items.
• Maintain compliance with safety, security, PPE, licensing, vehicle, equipment, and asset-control requirements.
• Coach and develop staff, manage performance and discipline through the first written-warning stage, and promote operational standards.

Requirements

• Matric certificate.
• Three to five years of experience in fleet control or a similar supervisory role.
• Strong leadership, team-management, communication, administrative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of routes and geography, computer proficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
• Clean driving and criminal records, sober habits, reliability, and willingness to work overtime when required.
• Certificate or qualification in supply chain, logistics, fleet management, or a related field is advantageous.
