Innovation Programmes Adviser - Māori Engagement (Innovation and Entrepreneurship): Planning, coordinating and delivering innovation and entrepreneurship programmes and events at the University of Auckland with an accent on Māori-focused cohorts, participant experience and culturally responsive delivery. Salary: NZ$78,000–NZ$90,000 per year, reflecting experience.

What you will do
- Plan, coordinate, deliver and continuously improve innovation and entrepreneurship programmes and events.
- Manage participants, contributors, communications, schedules, logistics, resources and post-programme reporting.
- Take responsibility for selected Māori-focused programmes, cohorts and activities.
- Support recruitment, outreach, relationship-building and participation across Māori-focused programmes and the wider portfolio.
- Work with academics, facilitators, practitioners, community partners and other contributors to create effective participant experiences.
- Help participants connect with and progress through wider innovation and entrepreneurship opportunities.
Requirements
- Experience planning and delivering programmes and events in education, innovation, entrepreneurship, community development or a related field.
- Strong programme management, organisation, communication and participant engagement skills.
- Demonstrated experience engaging with Māori communities and understanding of tikanga Māori and culturally responsive practice.
- Ability to engage effectively with Pacific communities and build relationships with diverse participants and partners.
- Experience working with facilitators, educators, practitioners, academics or community partners.
- A relevant qualification and capability in te reo Māori, or a demonstrated commitment to developing proficiency.
