TL;DR
VP, Product (Quantum Computing): Turning quantum computing research and technical milestones into scalable product roadmaps for hardware, software, integration, and cloud offerings with an accent on industrial QEC and FTQC systems, customer value, and commercial viability. Focus on leading product governance, identifying market opportunities, aligning executive stakeholders, and translating deep-tech innovation into practical products.
Location: Hybrid in Espoo, Finland or Munich, Germany

What you will do
- Translate technical and R&D milestones into a clear, scalable product roadmap with Technology and other internal stakeholders.
- Own product governance across on-premises quantum hardware, software, integration, and cloud offerings.
- Lead and develop a high-performing Product team, including manager-of-managers structures.
- Guide the transition from NISQ-era research systems toward industrial quantum error correction and fault-tolerant quantum computing systems.
- Identify markets, industries, and customer segments with Sales and Commercial teams, and balance customer needs, technical feasibility, and long-term strategy.
- Partner with executive leadership on prioritization and budget planning, and represent at global industry events and executive forums.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or PhD in engineering, physics, computer science, business, or a related field.
- 10+ years of senior product management and leadership experience.
- Experience in deep tech, R&D-intensive, or scientific product environments, bringing complex research-driven technology to market.
- Track record of translating company strategy and customer insights into successful product strategies and commercially viable products.
- Experience configuring product portfolios for customer value and commercial performance.
- Strong executive communication skills and the ability to align stakeholders across functions and geographies.
Nice to have
- Experience in quantum computing or an adjacent deep-tech field.
- Experience with HPC centers, cloud providers, or sovereign cloud initiatives.
- Experience with business models and their evolution in the computing industry.
