Product Videographer (Freelance)

Location: On-site at the Sydney, Parramatta CBD studio, Australia. Shoots typically run 4–5 hours once or twice a week, or every other week, with variable days and hours.

Independent Australian animation studio producing original long-form animated shows distributed on YouTube.

What you will do

• Capture clean, well-lit merchandise photography and b-roll video for the online shop, campaigns, and social channels.
• Create vertical and horizontal short-form content featuring products in a casual, personality-driven, and skit-based style.
• Set up lighting and organize camera equipment for product shoots and social content.
• Maintain consistent visual quality and style across e-commerce and social media shoots.
• Organize and archive footage and photos according to established file structures.
• Collaborate with the marketing team on shot lists and shoot planning, including occasional driving to exterior locations.

Requirements

• Strong experience in product or e-commerce photography and b-roll, ideally with merchandise or apparel.
• Experience creating quick, casual, personality-driven video content in addition to polished commercial work.
• Experience using DSLR or mirrorless cameras and studio lighting.
• Strong creative judgment for e-commerce and social media visuals.
• Availability to work on-site in Parramatta CBD with flexibility around shoot and editing schedules.
• Driver’s license and access to a car required for occasional off-site shoots.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with hirify.global shows, fandom, and meme culture.
